Upcoming and Past litters

January 9, 2020

For anyone just checking out our website, I wanted to give you some information about our upcoming puppies and our past puppies.  We are hoping that Daisy will be in heat and ready to be bred sometime this month.  We will be breeding her to our small Standard Poodle, Charlie. He is expected to be around 30lbs when full grown. He has a beautiful red coat and carries white markings, so he should pass this on to his puppies.  Daisy’s first litter was a beautiful variety of light apricot to dark red. The father of her first litter was a Small Standard Poodle around 40lbs.  They have beautiful shiny curly coats.  Daisy’s second litter, you will notice that a lot of the puppies are solid black. This is due to the fact that their Dad, Lucky, carried a dominant black gene. So, genetically all of his puppies would be 50% black or black phantom and the other 50% would be reds, apricots or creams.   The puppies in her second litter also had beautiful shiny , curly coats as well.  We also had a Golden Retriever named Poppy. Daisy and Poppy were not getting along when they were both pregnant and being that all of our dogs live in our home with us, this didn’t work out very well. Sadly,  we sent Poppy back to have her puppies at the breeder we purchased her from. We agreed to split the litter with the breeder.  When we went to take pictures of the puppies at 3 weeks, the breeder agreed to give us our 1/2 of the puppies along with another F1 Goldendoodle (Joy) that we traded for Poppy.   You’ll see in the photos of our Poppy and Lucky litter that the puppies that we chose all have the phantom pattern. They have turned out to be beautiful puppies and are so smart and sweet.   Daisy adopted Poppy’s puppies and Joy as her own, so she continued to raise the 17 of them together. That’s why you will see some pictures of the two litters, and Joy,  mixed together.  We were able to follow the  Puppy Culture Program with the additional pups starting at 3 weeks.
